This morning at approximately 10:45 a.m. the Assistant Principal at Howard High School received information that a student had a weapon on school property. The school was placed on lock down while the student was identified.

The locker assigned to the fifteen year old student was searched and a semi-automatic BB gun was found loaded inside. The BB gun was described as realistic looking and could be mistaken for the real thing. The student is being charged with Carrying a Weapon on School Property.
