These charges stem from an incident that occurred on December 29, 2011 at the Hamilton County Jail involving Medford and a juvenile inmate.</description>

He has outstanding warrants for:  Aggravated Assault (Domestic), Domestic Assault, Theft over $1000, Drugs for Resale, Theft of Property, Tampering with Evidence, Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, various traffic charges to include, Leaving the Scene of an Accident w/damage, Driving on Suspended license.</description>

<title>Homeowner captures burglar</title>

<description>A man who burglarized a home on Middle Valley Road earlier today was captured by the homeowner.  Byron London was involved in doing some work on his home when the suspect, identified as Amous L. Young was observed by Mr. London leaving the house.  The homeowner grabbed and held the suspect while  calling the Sheriff’s Office.</description>

The residence owner stated he heard noises and confronted a w/m who was prowling around his Jeep vehicle.  He observed the suspect leave in a silver or grey SUV.</description>

<title>HCSO Corrections Officers prevented attempted suicide</title>

<description>The quick action of Corrections Officer, Melba Quarterman prevented the possible death of an inmate.  Earlier today at approximately 12:20 p.m., Officer Quarterman was involved in doing a routine security check of  a cell area on the third floor of the Hamilton County Jail.  She noticed that someone had placed a blanket in the food slot opening of the cell and went to check.  As she approached the cell door she noticed that an inmate was attempting to hang himself and had tied sheets to the screen area of the cell and then around his neck.</description>

<title>HCSO receives grant from Governors Highway Safety Office</title>

<title>Davies charged with Attempt 1st Degree Murder</title>

<description>The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office received a stabbing call at approximately 12:54  a.m., December 24, 2011 at 938 Wesley Road.  When deputies arrived on scene they found Joseph Davies suffering from at least two knife wounds.  Information from the victim  revealed that he and his wife, Angela Davies became involved in an argument over her spilling a drink in the bed and him saying she could not have anything further to drink.</description>
