Submit a Tip to the Patrol Division
Tips to patrol include issues our Patrol Division would normally respond to such as suspicious or illegal activity in your neighborhood, excessive speeding, domestic disturbances, neighborhood disturbances such as loud music or serious animal related calls, extent.
Submit a Tip to the School Resource Division
Tips to the School Resource Deputies include issues our School Resource Deputies would normally respond to such as threats made at or against schools, students, or teachers at Hamilton County schools.
Submit a Tip to the Criminal Investigation Division (CID)
Tips to the Criminal Investigations Division include questions or information regarding investigations that occur in the unincorporated areas of Hamilton County. This includes the cities of Walden and Lakesite due to the fact that they contract law enforcement services from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office. Tips to the Criminal Investigations Division can also include the location of someone with stolen property or information regarding potential or alleged gang activity.
Submit a Tip to the Narcotics Division
Tips to the Narcotics Division generally include information about people making, using, or selling illegal substances. This includes offering knowledge of known or suspected drug houses, creation labs, and delivery points. Tips to narcotics personnel can be responded to if deemed appropriate by all other divisions within the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
Submit a Tip to the Fugitive Division
Tips to the Fugitive Division include information or knowledge that may assist authorities who are presently looking for a fugitive or suspect, or someone suspected of having open/active warrants. Tips to fugitive personnel can be responded to if deemed appropriate by all other divisions within the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
To report a tip to the Fugitive Division, check the status of an open warrant on a suspected person, and if you find this individual in our system, you may use the Tip Submittal process located on that person's details page.
Submit a Tip to the Internal Affairs Division
Tips to the Internal Division generally include information regarding officer or employee conduct. Tips to the Internal Affairs Division can be responded to if deemed appropriate and will be kept confidential.
Submit a Tip to the PREA Corrections Coordinator
The Prison Rape Elimination Act of 2003 (PREA) is the first United States federal law passed dealing with the sexual assault of prisoners. The bill was signed into law on September 4, 2003.
This tip reporting system is available to the public as a means to provide confidential information regarding information concerning threats, abuses, assaults, or activity of a sexual nature in the Hamilton County Correctional Facility
