The body that was found Saturday, June 13, 2009 at the Island Cove Marina has been identified as Kathrine L. Overturf age 48. A boater found the body of a female floating in the water approximately 12:30 p.m. at the boat slip area of the Island Cove Marina. The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office was notified and the Criminal Investigative Division responded to the scene to initiate the investigation.

The Hamilton County Medical Examiner completed the autopsy today and no signs of foul play was found.

The investigation is on-going and being handled by Detective Jeff Baker.
