HCSO Requests Community Assistance Locating Escaped K-9

Hamilton County, TN - The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office is asking for community assistance in locating one of its off-duty K-9's.

K-9 Deputy Kada, a 50 pound, female Dutch Shepherd went missing late this afternoon from her handlers residence in East Ridge. It is believed she may have traveled as far as the Belvoir or Marlboro, area.

Kada is approximately 5 years old and is very social and good natured. She was last seen wearing a black and grey nylon collar accompanied by a silver chain . It is believed she was able to escape by climbing her pen's wall and working her way under the pen's roof proving that she is ever as good at escaping as she is catching law breakers.

Please note, the deputies responsible for taking care of K-9 deputies take every precaution to safeguard and protect the security, health, and safety of their partners. The HCSO takes lost K-9's very seriously.

Kada's picture is listed below. Anyone with any information as to the whereabouts of Kada or may have seen her is strongly encouraged to contact the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office at 423-622-0022.
