The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office was called to investigate a single vehicle traffic crash that occurred this morning at approximately 3:00 a.m. in the 12700 block of Jones Gap road. On arrival, the traffic investigator found the crash involved a 2004 Ford F 150 with two occupants. The preliminary evidence shows that speed was a possible factor, as the truck rolled several times before striking a tree. Both the driver and passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. No additional information will be released pending the notification of next of kin.

The investigation is on-going and being handled by Sgt. David Tittle with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Division.
