Arrest on 1808 Timesville Road

03/20/2015

On March 19th, Deputy Jason Smith received a call regarding suspicious activity at 1808 Timesville Road. Upon arrival, Deputy Smith was notified by the reporting party that two cars pulled into a church parking lot and exchanged items, then drove off in a black Dodge Dart, leaving a gray Toyota RAV4 on scene.

Some time later, the Dodge Dart returned. Deputy Smith initiated a traffic stop in the church parking lot and made contact with two female subjects, Bernice Milligan and Eshanna Daughtery. When he inquired as to the nature of their business at the address, Ms. Milligan stated that she was bringing lunch to her husband and that their vehicle wouldn’t make it into the driveway. Deputy Smith asked for consent to search the vehicle and called dispatch to deploy the K9 Unit. When Ms. Daughtery heard that the K9 Unit was being deployed, she confessed to holding Adderall in her pocket. Deputy Smith also observed the subject attempt to hide a small brown bag under the seat of the vehicle.

The deputy retrieved the bag and found it to contain approximately 36 grams of ICE, 2 glass smoking pipes containing residue, several small baggies containing a white powdery residue and a metal container with 2 Clonazepam inside. Also found in the back seat was a Savage model 110 30-06 cal. Rifle.

Ms. Daughtrey was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident. The narcotics were turned into property.
