The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a C.P.R. in progress call at a Wyndsor Drive address located in Hixson this afternoon at approximately 1:55 p.m.

When deputies arrived on scene they found C. P. R. being performed on a two year old child who had been found unresponsive inside his residence. Hamilton County Emergency Medical Services arrived and transported the child to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The child’s death is currently being investigated by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and the Hamilton County Medical Examiner’s Office.
