Hamilton County Emergency Services has been advised by the National Weather Service (NWS) about predicted freezing rain tomorrow morning between 5:00 and 7:00 am. The precipitation is expected to create up to 2/10 inch of ice and cause extremely hazardous road conditions across our region.

Emergency Services officials suggest that people stay off the roadways if possible and to be especially careful on bridges and other exposed surfaces. The Highway Department is out now treating roadways as a precautionary measure to reduce icing.

Local law enforcement agencies will issue advisory reports and road closings as necessary. Stay tuned to local media for news and instructions.
