On June 13, 2012, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and Sequoyah Volunteer Fire Department responded to 10204 Wyatt’s Lane on a reported residential fire. Upon arrival, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Deputies and Sequoyah Firefighters found the residence fully engulfed in fire. Fire Chief Mike Brumlow requested that a fire investigator with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene to conduct the fire investigation.

The origin and cause of the fire was investigated by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division. The residence was a total loss. Investigators determined the cause of the fire was arson.

Evidence pertaining to the investigation was presented to the Hamilton County Grand Jury by Hamilton County Sheriff’s Detective David Sowder. The Hamilton County Grand Jury returned two indictments each, charging Marty Chad Frizzell of Soddy Daisy and Lauren Nicole Clark of Cleveland with Felony Arson, Conspiracy to Commit Arson.

Marty Chad Frizzell has been arrested and booked into the Hamilton County Jail. Warrants have been issued on Lauren Nicole Clark.
