The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office was called to the 1600 block of Montlake Road this morning at approximately 12:00 a.m. on a traffic crash involving an ATV. When deputies arrived on scene they found that a single ATV occupied by two male parties left Poe Road then attempted to make a left hand turn onto Montlake Road. The driver lost control striking several mailboxes then hitting a rock retaining wall.

The ATV flipped and landed on top of the driver identified as Benjamin Bowman w/m age 25 of Soddy Daisy. The passenger identified as Brandon Dodson w/m age 20 suffered minor injuries in the crash. Benjamin Bowman was transported to Erlanger Hospital via Life Force with serious injuries. Neither party was wearing helmets.

The traffic crash is being investigated by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Division.
