Traffic Crash at 6420 Ooltewah-Georgetown Road

Deputies with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office were called to 6420 Ooltewah-Georgetown Road this morning at approximately 7:46 a.m. on a two vehicle traffic crash.

When deputies arrived on scene they found that a 1974 Ford F-350 Flatbed truck driven by Tracey Trosclair age 35 of Ooltewah crashed into the front of a 2011 Mazda SUV driven by Claudia EK w/f 42 of Ooltewah. Ms. Ek suffered severe injuries in the crash and was trapped in the vehicle. The seven year old daughter of Ms. Ek was transported by Hamilton County Emergency Medical Services to Children’s Hospital with critical injuries. Following extrication, Ms. Ek was transported to Erlanger via Life Force Air Medical.

Driver of the 1974 Ford F-350 Flatbed truck, Tracey Trosclair, was transported to Erlanger via Hamilton County Emergency Medical Services, where he was treated and released.

The investigation into this crash is on-going and being handled by Deputy Eddie Sledge, Investigator with the HCSO Traffic Division.
