Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office received a call on July 7, 2012 at approximately 12:20 a.m. regarding a single vehicle crash at 9400 Lovell Road. When deputies arrived on scene they found a 2008 Hyundai Elantra occupied by four subjects had been traveling south bound on Lovell Road. The vehicle left the roadway on the right side landing in a ditch. One occupant identified as Scott Stelling age 18 was ejected from the vehicle and sustained serious injuries. The others, identified as Zachary Burns age 18, Joseph Leffew age 18 and Anthony Thomas, age 26 were also transported to an area hospital for medical treatment.

The investigation at this point shows that alcohol and reckless driving were contributing factors in the crash. The investigation is on-going by Deputy Eddie Sledge, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Division.
