The Norfolk Southern Railroad began maintenance work on the railroad crossing on Boy Scout and Sandswitch Road. Boy Scout and Sandswitch Road will remain closed until 5pm today. Thursday, June 28, Thrasher Pike at Highway 27 will be closed from 8am - 5pm and Boy Scout from 8am - 12pm. Deputies with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office will be onsite to deal with any traffic related issues. Citizens are requested to watch for road closed signs the next several weeks.
