The C.I.T. 2012 Awards & Recognition Breakfast will be held on May 23, 2012, 8:00 a.m. at the Chattanooga Choo Choo Imperial Ballroom. The program will honor all law enforcement officers involved in the training but will also name C.I.T. Officer of the Year. The keynote speaker at this year’s program will be Jeff Styles

The Hamilton County/City of Chattanooga Crisis Intervention Team Program is an innovative, proactive law enforcement-based approach which addresses the unique needs of mental health residents in our community, who may become involved with law enforcement. The partnership which has been created between law enforcement, treatment providers and consumer advocates has enhanced the quality of life for mentally ill consumers when interacting with the trained C.I.T. officers.
