Traffic crash on Hunter Road
A one vehicle traffic crash that occurred in the 5800 block of Hunter Road was reported to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office this morning at approximately 9:05 a.m. The traffic investigation conducted by Deputy Todd Cook has shown that speed was a factor in the crash. The 1996 Buick Regal operated by Misty Dawn Szekely w/f 19, was traveling east bound on Hunter Road when she left the roadway and struck a tree.
The driver was trapped in the vehicle and emergency personnel worked for approximately 25 minutes to remove her from the vehicle. She was flown by Life Force to Erlanger Hospital due to the seriousness of the injuries she sustained in the crash. According to information received Ms. Szekely is listed in critical condition.
The investigation is continuing and being handled by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Division.
