The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office was called to 7325 Valley Lane last night at approximately 8:17 p.m. on a party who had made threats to harm himself and others. When deputies arrived on scene the party, identified as Chris Davis age 37 could not be located. Deputies made several attempts to locate Mr. Davis with no success until they were notified that he had returned to the residence on Valley Lane.

Due to threats to harm himself or others, the decision was made to have the SWAT team respond to the scene. Several attempts were made by members of the Negotiations team to contact Mr. Davis by phone with no response. The SWAT team entered the residence with permission from a family member. Mr. Davis was found in his bedroom where he was taken into custody without incident. A deputy trained in Crisis Intervention made contact with Mr. Davis and he was transported to an area hospital for further evaluation.
