The Cheerleading and Dance Competition held on December 4, 2010 at Soddy Daisy High School to benefit the “Caring Cops Toy Drive,” was a wonderful success.

“We’ve Got Spirit,” a business located on Highway 58, organized this event and partnered with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office. Each participant was requested to bring an unwrapped toy to the event and this enabled the HCSO to collect approximately 450 new toys. A good time was had by everyone involved as well as enjoying the cheerleading and dance teams who came to perform.

All toys collected will then be donated to the “Forgotten Child Fund.”
