On October 4th all local news media ran the story of a teenager being killed and another seriously injured after they forced their way into a residence on Pattontown Rd. James Bryan Miller was positively identified as the shooter by individuals that were inside the residence. Warrants were issued for Criminal Homicide after James Bryan Miller could not be found.

On October 5th one day after the story was aired a concerned citizen called the Hamilton County Sheriff’s office with information on the whereabouts of Mr. Miller. The information given was that Mr. Miller was at a residence in Whitfield County, Georgia. After detectives contacted the Whitfield County Sheriff’s office and gave them the information Whitfield County deputies went to the residence and located Mr. Miller. Mr. Miller was taken to the Whitfield County Jail and is awaiting extradition back to Hamilton County were he will answer to the charge of Criminal Homicide.
