Methamphetamine labs located in Hamilton County
A narcotics investigation that was initiated in Sequatchie County by the Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Office became a joint investigation involving the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division. This resulted in information regarding the locations where Methamphetamine labs and other components used to manufacture methamphetamine could be found. The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics detectives have been actively searching an area around the 9200 block of West Ridge Trail Road in Hamilton County since early this afternoon. So far this search has uncovered twenty-seven (27) Shake and Bake meth labs that have been discarded. The search covered approximately 1/8 of a mile on West Ridge Trail Road.
Charges are pending as the investigation is still in the early stages and will continue by both Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division and Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Office.
