Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office responded to 7400 Gates Road earlier this afternoon at approximately 2:00 p.m. on a reported motorcycle crash. On arrival, deputies found two juvenile males with serious injuries as a result of the crash.

A witness stated he observed the motorcycle and occupants traveling at a high rate of speed as they topped the crest of the hill. Evidence indicated the motorcycle became airborne at the hill crest and the driver lost control when he landed. The initial investigation found that speed and driver inexperience contributed to the crash.

The driver, a fifteen year old male suffered serious injuries and was transported to Children’s Emergency Room via Life Force. The passenger, a fourteen year old male was transported to Children’s Emergency Room via Hamilton County Emergency Medical Services.

The investigation is on-going and being handled by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Division.
