Get Nailed Car

Sheriff Jim Hammond along with Tennessee Highway Patrol through the Governor’s Highway Safety Program and area Kangaroo convenience stores will be presenting the “Get Nailed Car” on April 19, 2010. The car will be placed at the Kangaroo Store located at 5030 Hunter Road for the week of April 19-24, 2010 and then will be moved to 5723 Hixson Pike for the week of May 17-21, 2010.

Sheriff Hammond would like to invite the media to take part in the kick off for the “Get Nailed Car,” on April 19, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kangaroo Store located at 5030 Hunter Road. The nailed vehicle is part of a campaign to make drivers aware that the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and other area law enforcement agencies will be on the roads watching for speeding, riding without a safety belt, or driving while under the influence.
