HCSO School Resource Deputy Responds to Alleged Bomb Threat at East Hamilton Middle School

Hamilton County, TN – On February 02, 2023, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Deputy assigned to East Hamilton Middle School was made aware of an alleged bomb threat.

After a brief investigation the HCSO SRD was able to identify the student suspected of making the threat and obtained a confession after questioning.

The student will be charged with Threats of Mass Violence at a School.

At this time there is no active risk to the school or the community.

As this incident involves a juvenile, no additional details are available at this time.
