The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office was called to the 11000 block of Highway 58 earlier this evening around 6:00 p.m. on a pedestrian struck. When deputies arrived on the scene, they found that 86 year old Tennessee Garcia h/m was crossing the highway on the way to his home and walked out in front of a minivan traveling north bound on Highway 58.

Mr. Garcia was pronounced D.O.A. at the scene. The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Division is handling the investigation.
