Hamilton County, TN – The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating an inmate stabbing that occurred this morning at the Silverdale Detention Center.

Detectives can confirm one inmate was stabbed and transported to a local hospital. The extent of their injuries is not known at this time.

Detectives are currently on scene at CoreCivic and investigating.
