MISSING PERSON FOUND AND SAFE: Mr. Cheeks has been successfully located. He is currently being transported to a local medical facility for review as a precaution.

Hamilton County, TN - On Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at approximately 7:30 p.m., Hamilton County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the 8325 Summitt Hill Court to take a report of a missing person.

The family of James Henry Cheeks, age 70, reports Cheeks was last seen at his residence on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at approximately 4:30 p.m. The family further advised Mr. Cheeks suffers from dementia and Parkinson’s.

Mr. Cheeks is described as an African-American male, 5’10”, 167 pounds and was last seen wearing gray pants, a cream color shirt, and white tennis shoes.

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office has sent out a regional broadcast to area law enforcement and continues to search the area for Mr. Cheeks.
