HCSO Involved in Two Early Morning Vehicle Pursuits

Hamilton County, TN – Earlier this morning, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office personnel were involved in two separate vehicle pursuits that ended on Interstate 75.

The first pursuit occurred around 1:45 am near the 300 block of Interstate 75. The pursuit involved a stolen vehicle. The vehicle crashed into a dividing wall and came to a stop. No injuries were reported. There were five subjects in the vehicle, all of which were taken into custody. Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office detectives and traffic investigators are investigating the incident. All five suspects are juveniles.

The second pursuit occurred around 5:45 am near the 1330 block of Interstate 75. This pursuit also involved a stolen vehicle which resulted in a crash with no injuries. The vehicle contained three subjects, all of which were adults and were taken into custody by Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office personnel. The names of the three suspects are not being released at this time.

Both of these vehicle pursuits and the circumstances surrounding them remain under investigation.
