Hamilton County, TN - On July 4th at approximately 10:45 pm, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to 14,500 Dayton Pike on report of a pedestrian struck.

Upon arrival the pedestrian struck was declared deceased on scene.

Preliminary investigation appears the individual had just walked out of Fuzzy's Bar and was struck by a vehicle traveling northbound on Highway 27.

This is an ongoing investigation being conducted by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office Traffic Division. The name of the deceased is being held at this time pending notification of next to kin.
