In January 2009, the 911 center consolidated our Dispatcher Center into one new entity for 911. Since that time, the Communications Division of the HCSO has adopted the following responsibilities:
  • Monitors HCSO radio traffic to help ensure officers receive quality service regarding radio communication and dispatch of calls
  • Provides feedback to respective parties regarding dispatch complaints
  • Requests copies of 911 calls and CAD reports as needed for court and/or departmental issues and complaints
  • Monitors 911 Center’s compliance with signed user agreement regarding TIES/NLETS/NCIC policy
  • Coordinates paperwork regarding wrecker service districts
  • Monitors and validates wrecker service companies’ compliance with policy regarding business license, insurance, etc.
