In January 2009, the 911 center consolidated our Dispatcher Center into one new entity for 911. Since that time, the Communications Division of
the HCSO has adopted the following responsibilities:
Monitors HCSO radio traffic to help ensure officers receive quality service regarding radio communication and dispatch of calls
Provides feedback to respective parties regarding dispatch complaints
Requests copies of 911 calls and CAD reports as needed for court and/or departmental issues and complaints
Monitors 911 Center’s compliance with signed user agreement regarding TIES/NLETS/NCIC policy
Coordinates paperwork regarding wrecker service districts
Monitors and validates wrecker service companies’ compliance with policy regarding business license, insurance, etc.
